Another response I kept getting was that “the admission of animals into Kohl’s is left to each individual manager.”

Although many reports claim that dogs aren’t permitted in Kohls’ stores, this decision ultimately falls on the shoulders of each manager.

Moreover, although every Kohl’s store may be different, most managers don’t allow pets or dogs in their stores because they fear for safety and health.

You can do this by contacting your local Kohl’s Customer Service agent via chat or telephone.

Does Kohl’s Allow Service Animals?

While not every Kohl’s allows pets, most will permit service animals for those who require them. The store manager at your Kohl’s can decide if you allow service animals.

Kohl’s can refuse service if the service animal you request is an absolute need (e.g., for those with sight or hearing impairments).

This is not to be confused with the presence of emotional support animals. They are not permitted in all Kohl’s locations.
