Costco will be your go-to place for shopping.
How about the benefits that are included with Executive Memberships of the highest level? Customers get to shop at different times. This is what I learned about Executive Memberships.
As of 2022, Costco no longer offers exclusive shopping times to its Executive Members. This was once a benefit for those who were enrolled in the Executive tier. However, it seems that this practice has been slowly discontinued from most stores since 2015.
Costco: Do executive members have early access to the company?
Executive Members used to be able to access the store one hour earlier than Gold Star Members, giving them more time to shop with far fewer customers in the store.
However, Costco members of all tiers can now enter the store anytime between Monday and Saturday at 10:00 and 9:00 a.m.
Some warehouses do try to open about 15 minutes before the posted time, especially if it is the day before a big holiday.
But this does differ between locations, and doors can be kept closed until the posted opening time.
What is Costco’s Executive Membership?
Costco’s highest-tier membership option is Executive Membership.
Upgrades to this level are available for $60 more than the annual fee. Executive memberships cost $120.
Costco’s Executive Member Benefits:
Customers who upgrade their Executive Membership receive certain benefits that are not offered to others.
This is a loss of the shopping time, however these members are eligible for the following:
Further Savings on Services–Executive Members get additional savings on automobile servicing, insurance, property and mortgage programs as well roadside assistance.
Get exclusive offers and additional discounts
You get 2% cash back on the majority of your purchases. There are some exceptions like alcohol or tobacco. In order to make the $60 perk pay for your tier, you must spend $3,000 per annum. That is a reasonable amount for groceries or household supplies.

Costco was once able to give Executive members access to the stores an hour before other members.
Costco offers business member hours
Costco Business Centers are usually open sooner than Costco stores. They are open Monday-Friday, 7 AM to 6 PM and Saturday from 7 AM to 4 PM.
