Costco provides a gas pump service, just like other well-known Grocery brands. This includes competitive pricing and user-friendly pumps.
Costco Gas can be opened between 5am and 9, then closes between 7pm and 10pm Monday through Friday. Costco Gas is open from 7am to 8pm on weekends. Costco Gas can be filled up even when a Costco Warehouse closes. They have separate operating hours.
Although Costco Gas Station hours can be found in most areas of the United States, they may vary slightly depending on where you are located.
Use the Costco Store Finder to locate your nearest Costco Gas location’s opening hours and closing times.
To find the closest store, enter your Zipcode, city or state once you are on the website. When you click on your store’s name, scroll down to the “Warehouse Services”, drop-down menu. Select “Gas Station”.
This will then show you the opening/closing times of Costco Gas near you (see below example).
It is important to view the hours under the “Gas Station” tab as Costco Gas has different hours to the Costco Warehouse.
Does Costco Gas Open On Public Holidays?
Costco Gas has a regular holiday schedule. Gas is not available for purchase on holidays such as New Years Day, Independence Day and Christmas.

Which is the best time to get gas at Costco?
Costco’s competitive prices can make them very busy.
It is best to travel to Costco Gas stations during off-peak times (10am-1pm and 7pm-10pm), especially when Costco stores are closed but the Gas stations remain open.
Costco Gas: What do you pay?
Costco Gas can accept a variety of payment options. These payments can be used at the pump to purchase Gas. There are some caveats.
Costco won’t allow you to pay using your credit card.
Pay by contactless at the pumps.
What if you have cash and can’t pay Costco Gas?
Costco cannot accept cash at its pumps. Attenders will not be able to handle it.
Customers who still prefer to use cash can buy a Costco Shop Card that can be used at the pumps.

Costco Gas always aims at selling gas for 30 cents less than closest competitors. Costco prides themselves on their affordability, which is partly driven by their membership model.
