Does Lowe’S Accept Afterpay & ‘Buy Now Pay Later’ Services?

With the advent of systems like Afterpay, Klarna, and QuadPay, people have found it easy to buy more expensive items. It allows you to save on your investment costs by making payments in small installments.

    Lowe’s does not accept Afterpay, Klarna, QuadPay, or any other form of ‘buy now pay later’ services in stores as of 2022. Lowe’s sells its own version of ‘buy-now-pay later’ for certain products. It is known as ‘Lease to Own’ and allows large purchases to be made without spending a lot upfront.

    Lowe’s offers the following style options: ‘Buy Today, Pay Later.’

    Lowe’s has a Lease to Own program that allows customers to pay slowly for items they don’t need, but have the funds to purchase.

    The service is available for monthly payments until ownership at a maximum of $2500.

    Even though it’s not exactly like a “buy Now Pay Later” program, this allows customers to not worry about bigger purchases.

    The service also covers many products such as:

  • Appliances for the home
  • Both outdoor and seasonal living
  • Use power tools
  • Home decor
  • Lighting fixtures
  • The service does not include these products.

  • Consumable and perishable food items such as fuel, foods, and fertilizer
  • Permanently installed products, like carpet and drywall
  • Transactions related to service, such as haulaway and installation
  • Also, there’s a minimum purchase requirement of $150, and you will need to be approved for the service, though no credit check is needed.

    Additionally, the standard 12-month lease is only for approved applicants. Also, progressive leasing cannot be done in Minnesota, New Jersey Vermont, Wisconsin or Wyoming.

    What are you able to do in lieu of the ‘Buy Now, Pay Later’ Lowe’s service?

    If your situation is not suitable for Lease to Own you can still purchase your merchandise using a credit line.

    Lowe’s also accepts major credit card companies. Lowe’s offers its own credit card for stores, with 5% cash back on any store purchase, except gift vouchers.

    The Lowe’s Commercial account is for professionals. There’s also the Lowe’s Receipt card and Lowe’s Business credit card.

    All of these options allow you to make larger purchases and pay back gradually.

    Another option for purchasing tools is to use Lowe’s tool rental service, which allows you to rent tools you need and then return them once used.

    The rental service does not allow you to buy any tools but it can provide you with all the necessary merchandise at a reduced price.

    Though it does not accept ‘buy now pay later’ services, Lowe’s accepts a range of other payment types, including:
