The USPS website states that almost all U.S. postal addresses can be reached within 24 hours. That is particularly true of flat rate envelopes and mail pieces that are postcard-sized.
For a nominal fee, however, you can mail next-day Priority Express shipping to an item on a Saturday. It will reach its destination in time for Sunday.
The price for this service is $12.50. This includes the base cost for next-day, 2-day, and 3-day shipping.
Priority Express provides tracking and insurance. If the mailpiece does not arrive at the destination within the time specified, Priority Express will refund your money.
What does USPS Sunday Delivery cost?
Priority Express is the best option. If the delivery date for your item falls on a Sunday you will need to pay $26.35 plus the $12.50 Sunday surcharge.
However, keep in mind that the base cost is the most expensive for the lightest item. The heavier your package, the higher the price you will pay.

However, Amazon and the Postal Service reached a partnership in 2013, allowing them to deliver Sunday packages.
The program began in large cities but has now expanded to encompass a larger area of the United States.

If you check on the delivery status of your package, you will likely see the window extend to 8, 9 or 10 p.m.
But chances are good, you will receive your package much earlier than that.
